What's new.
Thanks to the new Luminus SST-40 LED and optics upgrade, the Magicshine MJ-900S now achieves a maximum light output of 1500 lumens (FL1 standard).
Three brightness levels provide a choice of 1500, 1000, 450 lumens, plus 2 flash modes and daytime running lights (DRL mode). In addition, the warm light color improves night vision, reduces glare and creates soft shadows.
As usual, the temperature management of the MJ 900S prevents overheating if there is no air circulation. The lamp head is always restarted with the last selected setting.
E-bike compatibility.
The MJ-900S is compatible for operation with mainstream drives such as Bosch, Brose, Shimano and Yamaha (the connection cable from the respective manufacturer is required). The MJ-900S automatically adapts to the input voltage in the range of 6-12V.
New features added compared to the previous model.
The height of the light beam is limited by a vertical "anti-glare grille". In addition, the side lighting is increased by the geometry of the optics.
Attachment
The original O-ring bracket is removed, the base bracket of the MJ-900S is now the widely compatible Garmin mechanism, similar to our Allty series, which extends the compatibility of the MJ-900S to a large number of applications, such as: B. our own TTA mount (aluminum mount) or any Garmin or GoPro helmet mount. 3 mounts are included in the scope of delivery. The new Magicshine MJ-900S not only looks much cooler, the power bank is now also rechargeable via USB and can be used as a mobile backup power bank. The battery capacity display is visible both on the power switch of the lamp and on the battery pack. Press and hold the power button for 8 seconds while turning on the light to toggle between "Normal" and "E-Bike" modes. When the Magicshine MJ-900S is powered by an e-bike, it automatically adapts to the input voltage in the range of 6 to 12 V. Compatible with most mainstream motors from Brose, Bosch, Shimano and Yamaha etc. Please note that special wiring is required for compatibility with e-bikes, which is not supplied as standard.

The MJ-900S comes in a set with the new generation Magicshine Powerbank battery with 2.6 Ah capacity. The battery has a micro USB charging connection and a USB 2.0 standard connection. LI ION cells from the leading manufacturer Lishen are used, which also equips modern e-bikes and e-vehicles from well-known automobile manufacturers.
